I can't count how many compliments we've gotten from guests, couples' family members, venue staff, and wedding planners at weddings! The comments are usually followed by something like "We see so many photographers and videographers show up in leggings, crop tops, t shirts". As we've created our personalized brand, we've been strategic about so many things, including what wear, what we share on Instagram stories, and items we send and share with clients. This program would be all about dressing the part (for your event and for consultation meetings), what to share as "behind the scenes" content on Instagram, and how to integrate client gifting and communication to coordinate with your experience. For example, for us, part of our client experience includes personalized welcome box items, customized champagne bottles at their engagement session, Starbucks gift cards the week of their wedding, etc.

In everyday portrait work, we come in contact with all shapes and sizes and regardless of what our client looks like or how comfortable they are in front of a camera should not determine how well we do our job. We should deliver the same product, the same options and the same quality of work to a client regardless if they're tall, short, thick or thin. We just have to switch up posing at times, but no one should ever walk away from a session thinking they were less than because of their size. Insecurities don't just come in the form of weight-they also come in the form of height, personality and more. We will discuss what you can do different per body type and posing options for each of those, prompts to say and do to get even the least confident person feeling like they deserve to be in front of your camera!
